Turas go dtí an garáiste

Today, Clio and myself took a trip to the garage to get the punctured tyre from yesterday fixed. But when I went out first thing this morning, the spare was also looking a little under the weather. Off we went to get that sorted. A nice helpful man came and perked the spare right up. So, a little amused by the irony of the situation, we headed towards the garage once more.

Ar mo bhealach ansin, bhí orm an carr a stopadh. Bhí oibreacha bóithre ann. Bhí fir ag obair go dian díograiseach, is dócha. Ar aon nós, bhí an bóthar go dona. Bhí poill i ngach áit. D’imigh an gáire orm.

Afterall, here I was, on my way to collect my new and improved front tyre and these Irish roads were conspiring to put a few holes in the four that were now under me.
